University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM)

KOKUA Program, the UHM Office for Students with Disabilities –
Provides services and resources to students with learning, physical, psychiatric disabilities.

UHM Counseling & Student Development Center –
Helps to ensure academic success of students by providing support and assistance to those who face personal, academic, and career challenges.

The UHM Student Conduct Code –
Prescribes policies and procedures that address violations including jurisdiction, authority, roles, responsibilities, obligations, and proscribes conduct. Procedures include specific processes for reporting and investigating violations, sanctions which may be imposed for violations, retaining disciplinary records, and appealing administrative decisions.

Title IX Office –
Ensures that all student, faculty, and staff receive training on issues related to sex discrimination or harassment, and is responsible for the prompt and effective handling of complaints.

Student Equity, Excellence, and Diversity (SEED) –
Promotes, educates, and advocates for diversity throughout the UHM system by providing programs which aim to recruit and retain students, faculty, and staff who come from underrepresented groups.

UHM Writing Center –
Counsels and tutors students on ways to improve their writing skills at any stage in the writing process.
